Sticker Printers

Any sticker printer that can print a PDF should be compatible with Droptop, however we recommend using the GoDex RT200i. Our team has integrated and tested this specific printer for optimal performance and ease of use.

Payment Terminal

You can continue to use your own external payment system and POS terminal when using Droptop. However, if you want to use Droptop's integrated Stripe payment system, you'll need to use the Stripe Reader S710 payment terminal.

Stripe Reader S710 ($299 USD)

• A touchscreen device with a 5.5-inch display and cellular connectivity for countertop and handheld use. Accepts tap, chip and swipe payments. Connects over WiFi, cellular or Ethernet through the Stripe S700/S710 Hub. Works with an optional dock or case.

Stripe S710 Dock ($49 USD)

• The S700/S710 Dock was designed to provide an easy-to-use countertop solution for presenting Reader S700/S710 to customers. The Dock can be used with Reader S700/S710 with or without a case. Reader S700/S710 attaches to the Dock via magnets to ensure correct electrical contacts in addition to a locking nut should you want a more secure connection between Reader and Dock. Additionally, there are three mounting points on the bottom of the Dock to firmly secure to a countertop or other surface.

Stripe S710 Hub ($39 USD)

• The Stripe S710 Hub adds extra connection options to the Stripe Reader S710. It allows the reader to connect to the internet using a wired Ethernet connection. The hub is optional. You only need it if you want to use wired internet or connect USB accessories to your Stripe reader.

Barcode Scanners

Use any barcode scanner to scan VINs and UPCs. When buying a scanner, make sure it can scan VINs (code-39 barcodes). We are happy to give recommendations on which barcode scanner to buy. Remember, you can also scan VIN and UPC barcodes using the camera on your device running Droptop.

Cash Drawers

Use any cash drawer you want as long as it has a RJ11 or RJ12 connection. Then, to connect your cash drawer to your Windows computer running Droptop, you'll need a USB cash drawer trigger. We are happy to give recommendations on which USB cash drawer trigger to buy.
